The Niagara Falls is a beautiful area for painting and family on the American and Canadian side. This is the only shop in Niagara Falls, USA.
Each day begins with a morning demonstration and lecture. The demo will focus on bold composition in the context of the painting. You will learn how to make quick decisions and simplify for the greatest impact. We will discuss relationships color, detail, form and edges. Put the brakes on and learn, "the cake" before the frosting (accents). Participants will then paint until we break for lunch.
Lunch is on your own (you will be prompted to enter your Brown Bag Lunches on site). Over lunch, we will critique works in progress.
Participants are invited to a second painting for the afternoon, it is proposed that the work is no larger than 12x16. Supervised painting until 4p.m. every day. This workshop focuses on you a faster and better painters who capture the essence of the landscape. Sessions are 9-4p.m. Sunday and Monday. The workshops will focus on works in acrylic, oil or watercolor, but you may also be in the medium of your choice. One of the most beautiful painting locations in North America!

She is the founder of the International Plain Air Painters and is a past program speaker for the PPA International Convention. Jacqueline has workshops for professional photographers of America School of Photography in Atlanta and the Central Adirondack Art Center in Old Forge, NY, and conducts an annual workshop on Monhegan Iceland, Maine, St. Lucia, West Indies and numerous workshops in Niagara.
